Pausier Business FAQ
About Pausier Business
What is Pausier Business?
Pausier Business is a live pressure-moment Decision Safety Platform for organisations. It gives teams a structured way to pause, check pressure signals, involve a trusted reviewer, verify through approved routes and record risky work decisions before action is taken.
It can be used for supplier changes, invoice pressure, payroll changes, suspicious links, payment pressure, customer pressure, resident support, refund manipulation, goods release, account-access pressure and other high-risk decisions.
What problem does Pausier Business solve?
Many losses happen because someone acts under pressure before normal verification or review happens.
Pausier Business helps organisations create a safer decision moment: Trigger -> Pause -> Pressure signals -> Reviewer -> Verification -> Outcome.
The goal is to reduce exposure to pressure-driven mistakes, improve escalation, create a record of what happened, and help teams learn from real cases.
Does Pausier make a fraud finding?
No. Pausier is decision-support. It helps people review warning signs, verify through trusted routes, escalate to the right person and record the outcome.
Pausier does not provide certainty labels, prove something is safe or unsafe, or guarantee a particular outcome.
Who is Pausier Business for?
Pausier Business is for organisations where workers, customers, residents, clients or support teams may face risky pressure moments.
Examples include SMEs, banks, fintechs, councils, care homes, housing associations, accountants, bookkeepers, law firms, estate agents, marketplaces, e-commerce sellers, telecoms, insurers, charities, schools, universities, healthcare providers, government teams and public-sector teams.

Pausier Business FAQ
Live pressure moments
What is a Live Pressure Moment?
A Live Pressure Moment is the point where a worker, customer, resident, staff member or partner journey is being pushed to act before normal verification or review happens.
Examples include an unknown business caller, suspicious work message, risky URL, payment request, supplier change, urgent instruction, worker check or partner event.
Pausier Business maps that moment as Trigger -> Pause -> Pressure signals -> Reviewer -> Verification -> Outcome.
How does Pausier Business help a worker during an unknown call?
Today, the worker can pause before action, open a manual work-decision check, record safe pressure context, choose pressure signals such as urgency, secrecy, authority pressure, payment pressure or account warning, and route the check to a manager or owner where required.
Business live caller prompts are a planned extension for supported devices and approved integrations; they should not be treated as available until implementation and runtime proof exist.
The team then verifies through approved routes such as a saved trusted number, typed official website, internal approved route, council callback or bank support route.
What about landlines or shared office phones?
Landlines do not rely on automatic mobile caller prompts.
For landlines or shared office phones, workers can open a manual work-decision check on web or mobile. Larger organisations can use partner API, widget, SDK, telephony or CRM integration later where approved.
Can managers or owners respond?
Yes. Managers can review pressure signals, request safe verification, respond to the worker and record approve or reject outcomes.
Owners can oversee organisation setup, package limits, sector settings, high-risk decisions and audit visibility where available.
How does this work for councils, care providers and banks?
Councils can map resident or caseworker pressure moments to caseworker manager or service lead review, then use a council-approved callback or internal route.
Care providers can map resident or staff pressure moments to a care manager or registered manager, then use an approved family, provider or support route.
Banks and financial partners can map payment, refund, account or support triggers to a fraud, operations or support team, then verify through bank-owned official routes.

What roles does Pausier Business use?
The standard roles are Owner, Manager and Worker.
Owner controls organisation setup, users, billing, roles, sector settings and oversight. Manager reviews team checks and responds to escalations. Worker creates checks and reports risky situations.
Some sectors may use different display names. For example, a council may use Service Lead, Caseworker Manager and Caseworker. A bank may use Fraud Operations Lead, Review Manager and Frontline Agent.
What does the Owner Dashboard do?
The Owner Dashboard is the organisation control centre.
Owners can manage organisation profile, users and roles, teams and branches, role permissions, sector configuration, escalation routes, billing, reports, safety settings, integrations and audit visibility where available.
The Owner Dashboard is separate from the Pausier Operator Control Panel, which is used internally by Pausier.
Can owners create managers and workers?
Yes. The Owner Dashboard is designed for owners to create or invite managers, workers, extra owners, billing admins and auditors, subject to the package limits.
No passwords should be stored or handled by the owner. User creation should use safe invite or account setup flows.
How does Pausier help managers?
Managers can review escalated checks, see the report, decide whether to approve or reject, and record the outcome.
This helps reduce pressure on workers to make difficult decisions alone.
How does Pausier help owners?
Owners can oversee the organisation setup, users, package limits, sector settings, reports, billing, safety controls and decisions that require final owner oversight.
How does Pausier help workers?
Workers get a structured way to pause and raise a check before acting under pressure. They can create a report, escalate to a manager or owner, and see outcomes in history or recent decisions.
Pausier Business FAQ
Deployment routes
What are the five Pausier deployment routes?
Pausier Business supports five deployment routes: App + Web Dashboard, Hosted Partner Flow, Embedded Widget, Partner API + Webhooks, and Native SDK / Deep Integration.
Starter, Team and Plus use App + Web Dashboard only. Routes 2-5 are Enterprise/contact-sales or partner deployment routes.
What is App + Web Dashboard?
This is the standard Pausier Business route.
Workers, managers and owners use Pausier through the web dashboard and Android/iOS business apps. Owners manage users, billing and setup. Workers create pressure-moment checks. Managers and owners review and record decisions.
Best for SMEs, accountants, care homes, internal teams, small organisations and teams that want to start quickly.
What is Hosted Partner Flow?
Hosted Partner Flow gives an organisation a Pausier-hosted branded check page. The partner can share a link or QR code so residents, customers or staff can pause before acting.
Best for councils, care providers, housing associations, charities, marketplaces, public support routes and organisations that want a link or QR flow.
What is Embedded Widget?
Embedded Widget allows Pausier to appear inside a partner website, portal or app webview so the pause flow sits inside the partner journey.
The partner provides allowed domains and route details. The Pausier team supplies the widget setup and safe check flow.
Best for portals, marketplaces, fintech web journeys, council portals, customer support portals and care provider portals.
What is Partner API + Webhooks?
Partner API + Webhooks lets a partner system send safe pressure context to Pausier and receive structured decision-support outputs and signed events.
Examples include decision check, URL check, case handoff, outcome recording and webhook events when a check is completed.
Best for banks, fintechs, payment firms, marketplaces, insurers, telecoms and enterprise systems.
What is Native SDK / Deep Integration?
Native SDK / Deep Integration places Pausier inside a partner’s own app or customer journey so the pause step can happen before payments, refunds, account changes, call/text pressure or goods release.
This is an enterprise custom deployment route. It requires partner onboarding, technical discovery, security review, route configuration and production approval.
Best for banks, large fintechs, major platforms, enterprise apps and customer-facing apps with risky action points.
Can Pausier integrate into a bank or council app?
Yes. Pausier can be deployed as a hosted flow, embedded widget, Partner API with webhooks, or native SDK/deep integration depending on the organisation’s systems.
The organisation chooses the deployment route that fits its customer journey, staff workflow and security model.
Can Pausier send webhooks?
For Enterprise and partner integrations, Pausier can support webhook-based event flows where configured.
Webhooks require partner setup, signing, event selection, sandbox testing and production approval.
Can Pausier work without a technical integration?
Yes. Organisations can start with App + Web Dashboard or Hosted Partner Flow.
Deeper routes such as widget, API/webhooks and SDK are available for enterprise or partner implementation.
